The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has evacuated the parliament lodges from illegal residents, Dunya News reported on Monday. The illegal residents included relative of the parliamentarians and voters of different parliamentarians. According to the CDA officials more than 250 lodges have been evacuated in the operation while illegal residents of atleast 25 lobbies of the lodges were security risk for the parliamentarians themselves while the operation was carried out after the approval of prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani. According to the authorities, more or less 120 personnel of police and CDA took part in the operation. Entry for routine guests and other people was banned during the operation. The officials have said that all the belongings of the residents have been returned to them while belongings of those not present have been taken into custody for the time being.
