Hafizabad city has become an epicenter of drugs and narcotics while open and undeterred sale of wine could be witnessed in front of the DPO ofiice, Dunya News reported on Monday. On the other hand SHO city has been restored just after 15 minutes of his suspension for the second time. DPO Hafizabad Tariq Rustam Chohan had directed the police officers to eradicate the menace of drugs from the district but to no avail. Drug dealers are openly selling drugs. According to the citizens, drug dealers are backed and patronized by the local police. The citizens have said that many drug dealers continue their illegal business openly and fearlessly while the incharge of city police station has said that many FIRs have been lodged against drug dealers. When Dunya News team called the DPO to take his view, DPO did not attend the call. Dunya News team captured many incidents in which drug dealers and drug buyers are seen bargaining on drugs. DPO Tariq Rustam Chohan said that although there are many black sheep in police but he reiterated his firm stance on eradicating drug dealing from the city.
