Summary DCOs across Punjab have been directed to ensure complete implementation upon the orders
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A combing operation shall be initiated across educational institutions in Punjab in order to ensure their fool-proof security, reported Dunya News.
District Coordination Officers (DCO) have also been directed to take precautionary measures keeping in view the security concerns related to the educational institutions in the province.
Sources indicate that combing operation shall take place around educational institutions that fall under the A and A-plus category during the first phase of the campaign whereas other educational institutions shall be gradually made part of the proceedings.
Letters have been issued by the home ministry to various security agencies and institutions in this regards. On the other hand, the provincial government has directed the heads of the educational institutions to hand over children to their parents or close-ones when the school closes after ensuring proper identification.
