ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) is all set to hold sit-ins in five different cities including Lahore today (Saturday).

The party’s supporters will lead a rally from Press Club to Punjab Assembly in Lahore where PAT chief Tahir-ul-Qadri would address the participants via telephone.

President of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed would supervise the rally from Numaish Chowrangi to Tibet Centre..

PAT would also protest at Kachehri Chowk with Basharat Jaspal in Faisalabad whereas another rally would move towards Sialkot from Gujranwala under Sajid Mahmood’s direction.

Tahir-ul-Qadri said that there is no need of such democracy in which Prime Minister is not answerable.

He said that Islamabad’s sit-in was called off to refresh the people while the supporters are all set to take to the street with more determination.

On the other hand, deadlock between government and PAT continued to persist over permission to hold sit-in in Islamabad.

The negotiation between government and PAT was ended in vain after which the protestors threatened to march towards Parliament.

The local administration barred PAT from holding sit-in in Abpara Chowk as it’s an important business point in the metropolis on which, the party’s leaders said that they will protest on the decided spot under Khawaja Amir Fareed Koreja’s assistance.
