No progress without global cooperation, says PM

The Prime Minsiter Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that in the present era of globalization no nation can grow and progress in isolation, Dunya News reported on Sunday. He said that Pakistan Development Forum is a best way for connecting Pakistan with the modern and developed world. Talking at a banquet arranged in honour of the Pakistan Development Forum in Islamabad, the Prime Minsiter said that the decisions and recommendations of the forum would be extremely helpful in overcoming the economic challenges. He also said that the private sector could help reduce poverty and unemployment significantly if patronized properly. The PM said that sustained growth in the country is only possible through Public Private Partnership (PPP). Yousaf Raza Gilani added that Pakistan could enter into a new era of progress if given economic opportunities and access to the international markets.
