PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Khattak stated that the matter of the angry members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was an internal issue of the party and intended not to discuss about the issue, reported Dunya News.

While addressing a press conference, Khattak said that the party memberships of two Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) of the party who had certain reservations were revoked. He stated that the party leadership will comment on the matter, not him.

KP CM announced amendment in the Rules of Business in the Local Government Ordinance 2013. He stated that the district administrators were given 50% discretionary powers but the approval for developmental schemes shall be provided by the Deputy Commissioner. He added that the district administrators would also write the Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) of the officials of public departments.

Khattak further added that the provincial government has also decided to make changes in the Local Government Act and the P&D guide as well which shall soon be presented in the assembly. He said that the district administrators would be the Chief Executives of their districts but they shall have to take permission from the provincial government in regards to appointments and transfers.
