KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday staged a protest outside Karachi Press Club against the apprehension of party leaders Waseem Akhtar and Rauf Siddiqui, reported Dunya News.
Muttahida leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah served as the province’s CM because of an artificial majority, further stating that Qaim Ali Shah should consider the CM House as a guest house. He further said that the requirements of justice were not being met.
The demonstrators demanded that the apprehended party leaders be released immediately. Party leader Rauf Siddiqui’s family members stated that he always stood for the truth and rightful.
