Federal Law Minister Babar Awan has termed the suggestion of Charter of Pakistan by Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif equivalent to ridiculing Pakistan. He further said that only Pervez Musharraf and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif are talking about the role of Pak-Army in politics and may be in future both agree on this point. He also accused that an intentional delay is being made in crushing in the province of Punjab. The Federal Minister, while talking to the media at Lahore Airport, said that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif first signed Charter of Junejo, then Charter of Musharraf and finally Charter of Democracy (CoD). Now he needs not another social contract; infact he should act upon the points of CoD. He also said that the province of Punjab lacks good governance whereas through control shed programme, chicken price has been increased by more or less 90 rupees per bird while if the situation continues then poultry rates would become too high for the masses. He demanded obedience and implementation of the verdict of the Supreme Court on the sugar-price in letter and spirit.
