11 including two policemen injured in Mardan blast
Bomb disposal squad reached the area and launched search operation.
MARDAN (Dunya News) – At least 11 people including police officers on Tuesday sustained severe wounds in a blast near Toro Chowk in Mardan.
Sources told that the bomb which was placed in a shop suddenly exploded and injured 11 people including two policemen.
The rescue teams arrived at the scene and sifted the victims to District Headquarters Hospital for medical assistance where doctors said that three of the affectees are in critical condition.
Police sources told that 600 kg explosive material was used in the bomb whereas no loss of life has been reported due to early morning time.
Moreover, bomb disposal squad also reached the area and launched search operation.
