COAS visits Miranshah, iftars with IDPs in Bannu camp
COAS mingled with tribal elders and had a detailed discussion of the issues faced by IDPs: ISPR
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department on Monday stated that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited Miranshah and inspected preparations of rehabilitation process of displaced and affected families, reported Dunya News.
Corps Commander Peshawar and Formation Commander also briefed COAS over the developing situation after the operation.
ISPR further stated that COAS also visited camps of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Bannu and had an iftar with them. COAS mingled with tribal elders and had a detailed discussion of the issues faced by IDPs during the rehabilitation process.
