CM Sindh approves two JITs to probe Sabri's murder, Awais abduction

Summary Intelligence agencies personnel and police officials will be part of joint investigation teams.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government has decided to form joint investigation teams (JITs) after two gruesome and shocking incidents during the current week in Karachi, Dunya News reported.

Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shan on Friday approved to form two separate joint investigation teams to probe murder of renowned qawwali singer Amjad Sabri and abduction of Chief Justice Sindh High Court’s son Awais Ali Shah.

Top police officers and intelligence agencies personnel would be part of the joint investigation teams.

Sindh home minister, Sohail Anwar Sial had hinted the formation of joint investigation teams to probe Amjad Sabri’s murder and kidnapping of Awais Ali Shah.
