Noha khawan Farhan Ali Waris escapes attempt on life

KARACHI (Dunya News) – An attempted attack on the car of renowned Noha khawan Farhan Ali Waris in Karachi’s Teen Hatti area on Wednesday was foiled after Waris’s security guard did aerial firing forcing the attackers to flee, reported Dunya News.
While conversing with Dunya News, Farhan Ali Waris said that his security guard foiled the attack by doing aerial firing after the attackers approached his car, adding that he himself was not present in the car when the indent occurred.
Waris said that after the attack on qawwali singer Amjad Sabri, he was provided with a guard by Jafaria Disaster Management Cell’s (JDC) Zafar Abbass for security reasons.
He stated that he sent the guard back to JDC’s office in Ancholi in his car after he returned to his home, further stating that the attackers tried to surround his car near Teen Hatti considering that he himself was in the car but the guard opened fire and forced the attackers to flee.
