Heatwave spell continues to grip plain areas of country

Summary Strong winds have also been predicted at night hours in various cities.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, however, rain thundershowers with strong gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.I.Khan divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, reported on Saturday.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the sun will continue to sizzle in the country while strong winds have been predicted at night hours in various cities including Lahore.

Weather experts have said that Sindh province will also face heatwave whereas hot weather would continue to persist in Balochistan as well.

Highest Maximum Temperatures:

Dadu 48°C, Sibbi 47°C, Larkana, Jacobabad and Sh.Benazirbad 46°C.
