Can't say whether sit-in will be long term or short: Tahirul Qadri
PAT chief also invited other political parties to take part in the sit-in
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awaami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri on Wednesday stated that the families of the victims of the Model Town shooting have not achieved justice even after two years. He further added that he is unclear whether the sit-in going to be organised by the party in this regards will be long-termed or short-termed, reported Dunya News.
Qadri was given a warm welcome by his followers when he arrived at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport from the United Kingdom on Wednesday. PAT leader was greeted at the airport by a petal shower from his followers who also set free pigeons to mark his safe return home.
While conversing with media, Qadri said that the families of the Model Town shooting incident were unable to achieve justice of any sort over the killing of their loved ones. He further stated that the ones suffering in this regards now appeal to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif to provide them justice.
He also invited other political parties to take part in PAT’s sit-in.
