Summary After recent rain, heat stress broken in upper Punjab; Jacobabad, Dadu continue to burn in heat

LAHORE: (Web Desk, Dunya News) - After the rain and strong winds, the temperature in Upper Punjab become pleasant and the people who were fasting became happy and refreshed. But the hot and humid temperature still lingers in southern part of Punjab and also in Interior Sindh.

Today’s highest temperature was recorded in Turbat at 50 degrees Celsius. Nawab Shah, Dadu and Jacobabad temperatures were recorded at 49, 47, 45 degree Celsius respectively and in Rahim Yar Khan, Okara, Bhakar and Bahawalnagar, the temperature was recorded at 45 degrees.

Weather experts say that heat wave will continue tomorrow. Rain is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Hazara and in other areas over the next 24 hours.
