SRINAGAR (Dunya News) - An independent Muslim lawmaker of Indian-held Kashmir’s Legislature Assembly Engineer Rashid was forcibly expelled from the House on Wednesday over protest against the government.
According to Indian media, Engineer Rashid was hurled out of the assembly after he repeatedly protested against the Handwara incident.
He was then removed from the house by the security staff on the orders of the speaker.
This is not the first time when Engineer Rashid was forced to leave the Assembly.
On May 30, Engineer Rashid was marshalled out as he had been protesting on the Handwara killings.
He has also been subject to torture many times by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members before.
