Swabi: 2 cops killed, 6 hurt in Police Lines suicide attack

Two police personnel got killed while six others injured in a suicide attack at Police Lines in Swabi, Dunya News reported Monday. According to DIG Mardan, the attack was a suicidal attack; the attackers were trying to barge into Police Lines, when he was intercepted by a police positioned there. At least six cops including an inspector are injured in the attack, the police official said. Both the attackers also got killed in the exchange of fire between the police and unidentified miscreants that ensued after grenade attack. The police put security cordon off the area while the wounded have been shifted to nearby hospitals.
