PM remembers Muhammad Ali's visit to Pakistan
PML-N Facebook page shared photo of deceased boxer with PM Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE: (Web Desk) - Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Facebook page paid a tribute to 3-time former boxing world champion and greatest ever sportsman Muhammad Ali, by sharing his photo with Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
Ali passed away earlier today (Saturday) and PML-N page wrote that PM had expressed his deep sorrow and condolences on the loss of great asset to humanity.
Nawaz Sharif, then the chief minister of Punjab, had met Muhammad Ali when he came to Pakistan in 1988. Ali had also paid a visit to Data Darbar.
US President Barack Obama, UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi were also among those who paid tribute to Muhammad Ali. Nawaz Sharif himself is recovering after having an open heart surgery and is in London nowadays.

Muhammad Ali was regarded as the greatest not only for his performances in the boxing ring but also in life, as he fought for the black community and went to jail for his beliefs and services he provided.
Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the legendary boxer.
