Summary Jamaat-e-Islami's organising train march against corruption

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islaami (JI) has initiated its train march against corruption from Peshawar. JI ameer Sirajul Haq has stated that the individuals named in the Panama Leaks should resign on their own, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

While addressing party workers at the train station in Peshawar, Siraj said that the country s existence is endangered because of the corrupt leaders, further stating that if an independent investigation commission is not formed to probe into the Panama Leaks issue then the people will hit the streets and head towards Islamabad.

Jamaat-e-Islami s train march will reach Karachi on May 27. JI ameer will address public gatherings on 51 train stations during the journey.

The train march reached Lahore after passing from Rawalpindi, Wazirabad and Gujranwala after beginning its journey from Peshawar. Jamaat-e-Islami workers gave a warm welcome to the train march at the Lahore Railway Station.

The participants of the train march will head towards Karachi in the morning at 8am from the Railway Station after spending the night in Lahore.
