SWAT (Dunya News) - Some unidentified persons opened fire at a police mobile in Sangota area near Swat in Monday, killing a police constable and injuring the other, Dunya News reported.
According to DPO Swat, Saleem Marwat, the police mobile was on routine patrol when unidentified attackers opened fire at it. The dead and injured cops were shifted to Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital. The attacker managed to escape from the scene after the incident.
Heavy contingents of police and security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
