Very hot, dry weather expected in most parts of Pakistan

Summary Met Office has warned about very hot and dry weather during the coming week all over the country.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country. However, dust storm with few chances of light rain-thunderstorm may occur at few places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir during evening and night.

According to Met Office, very hot and dry weather would continue over plain areas of Punjab, KP, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sibbi and Makran divisions.

 

Met Office has warned about very hot and dry weather during the coming week all over the country.

The plain areas of Punjab, KP, Balochistan and Sindh will be the centre of heat where day temperatures will cross over 45°C and centrals parts will touch a critical level of 50°C.

Temperatures in mountainous areas of GB and AJK will also rise by 4-5°C above average resulting into rapid melting of snow and glaciers.

Yesterday s highest temperature was recorded in Larkana at 51°C, Moenjodaro, Jacobabad 50°C, Sibbi, Sukkur, Rahim yar khan, Shaheed Benazirabad 49°C, Padidan, Dadu, Rohri 48°C.
