Lahore: Three terrorists of banned outfit arrested
CTD conducted an operation in Mughalpura area of Lahore and arrested three terrorists.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday conducted an operation in Mughalpura area of Lahore and arrested three terrorists of a banned outfit, Dunya News reported.
Sources disclosed that the arrested terrorists, Muzaffar Ali, Malik Khizar Hayat and Asad Aftab, belonged to Saut ul-Ummat which is an affiliated branch of Islamic State (IS) group.
The arrested terrorists were planning to target sensitive installations in Lahore. Explosive material and electric circuits were also recovered from their possession. They were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
