Minister of State for Privatisation Mohammad Zubair said that PTI chairman is fooling nation with his so-called speeches as he also owned offshore company.
Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan confirmed that he had indeed owned an offshore company in 1983 on the advice of his accountant.
Khan said that he never remained a citizen of the United Kingdom and therefore had to make the offshore company in order to purchase property, adding that he had to pay taxes if he did not make the company.
He said that he purchased the flat from the amount of money he earned through playing county cricket.
Making a company in this manner is not an illegal process, ‘what I did was not a crime’, added Imran Khan.
