Kalabagh: 2 dead, 7 in critical condition after consuming toxic meal

KALABAGH (Dunya News) – Two people have died whereas seven are left in a critical condition after consuming a toxic meal in the Thatti Sharif area, reported Dunya News.
The two persons who died are grandfather and granddaughter in relation and are named as Abdul Rehman and Tasneem, who was 10 year old.
The ones in critical condition were transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital, Mianwali. The victims include a mother, two sons named Dilawar and Ramzan and four daughters named Irum, Muskaan, Muqadas and Yasmeen who are aged between 3-15 years.
According to local sources, the family slaughtered a goat and consumed its meat as the goat was shivering after it was bitten by a venomous insect which left all of them in a terrible shape.
