Karachi has been hijacked by mafia, says Syed Hafeez-ud-din.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - After recruiting party members from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) has convinced Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh MPA Syed Hafeez-ud-din Kamal to join PSP along with his partners. Meanwhile Hafeez announced resignation from PTI and Sindh assembly membership , reported Dunya News.

Hafeez said that Karachi has been hijacked by mafia as institutions are not working and local rights of authority have not been transferred to lower level.

Opposition in Sindh assembly has no value, he added. Hafeez said that he has joined PSP because party Founder Mustafa Kamal has done Phd in mayorship as well as in Karachi related problems and only Kamal can solve the city s issues.

He expressed his views about PTI and said that he thought PTI would bring possible change in the country but PTI chairman Imran Khan is surrounded by inexperienced friends. PSP Founder Mustafa Kamal warmly welcomed Hafeez and his partners.

Kamal also said that he is thankful to Hafeez for joining the party over single invitation while other parties are losing their own seats. He also added that he welcomes everyone who are watching him at home and are not ready to take any step.

PTI leader Ali Zaidi gave his remarks on Hafeez and said that the latter left the party because he was afraid of getting kicked out of the party.

Hafeez has been blamed of prejudice and corruption while Imran Khan had already approved his termination.
