Summary Federal, provincial govts responsible for free and fair by-elections says MQM leader
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar has accused that MQM workers are being targeted by certain elements who are also intimidating the party voters as well prior to the NA-245 by-elections in Karachi, reporting Dunya News.
Sattar addressed a press conference on Tuesday and demanded that the federal and provincial governments need to hold a transparent inquiry regarding the attacks carried out against Muttahida, adding that the government needs to ensure that the by-elections held are free and fair.
Sattar said that the Election Commission has been intimated regarding the activities that have taken place against MQM.
