Rana Mashood to keep Education Ministry only
Mashood also served as Minister of Tourism and Sports
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashood announced on Tuesday that he shall only serve as the Education Minister of the province and will relinquish all other ministries, reported Dunya News.
Mashood has informed Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif about his decision through a letter. Mashood stated that the Education Ministry is quite a responsibility to fulfill and that he wants to do justice with this particular ministry.
He added that his aim is to ensure that educational activities are being conducted in schools along with the availability of all resources. He said that he wants the country to progress after being equipped with education.
Rana Mashood also served as the Minister of Tourism and Sports prior to his decision of sticking with the Education Ministry alone.
