IHC orders proforma promotion of former IG Aftab Cheema
An official notification would be issued in the next meeting of Central Selection Board.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday has ordered to give proforma promotion to former Inspector General (IG) Aftab Cheema in 15 days.
The hearing of a case pertaining to halt promotion of former IG Islamabad was held by IHC justice Aziz Shaukat Siddiqui. During the legal proceeding, court directed the concerning department to inform after promoting Aftab Cheema.
However, an official notification would be issued in the next meeting of Central Selection Board.
The former IG approached court over not getting promotion and filed a case in this regard.
