LAHORE (Dunya News) – Protesting paramedical staff gathered in front of Civil Secretariat on Thursday and demanded to make them regular and implement service structure.
According to details, the workers held rally on Wednesday and staged sit-in outside the Secretariat. They spent night under open sky.
The protesters stated that they will continue sit-in until the government gives green signal to their demands.
Healthcare personnel also boycotted surgeries and opted out of all outpatient departments which caused the cancellation of various minor and major operations in various departments, creating problems for the patients.
They urged the authorities to ensure rights to them by implementing service structure and by making them regular.
