Summary Ayaz Sadiq demanded to file reference under the provisions of Pakistan Penal Code against Aleem Khan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has filed a reference in Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan on Tuesday which stated that Aleem Khan has submitted false verification regarding NA-122 elections. He has demanded to take action against Aleem Khan under the provisions of Pakistan Penal Code, reported Dunya News.
In the 52 paged reference, Sadiq was with the view that Khan has submitted false testimony of transferring votes from NA-122. He has questioned that PTI voter Adnan Saleem’s vote was not registered, then how come his name got transferred to another constituency
Earlier, ECP had rejected Khan’s reservations, declaring his testimony as false and stated that it may take action against Aleem Khan.
