PPP leader expressed discontentment over hapless condition of Civil Hospital Sukkur

SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah paid a sudden visit to the Civil Hospital, Sukkur, and expressed his dissatisfaction over the poor condition of the hospital, reported Dunya News.

Shah scolded the contractor of the hospital over the poor quality of the materials used in the construction of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the surgical ward of the hospital.

The presence of stray dogs along with patches of garbage present everywhere were other unfortunate features of the hospital which caught the attention of the senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and exposed the administration’s performance.

Addressing to the media afterwards, Khurshid Shah stated that the statements made by former Karachi Mayor Mustafa Kamal will have an impact on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) but to what degree will the party be impacted varies.

Shah criticised the government for making the National Accountability Bureau s (NAB) functioning in Punjab controversial. He also demanded a joint session of the Parliament in order to discuss the solutions of the various challenges faced by the country.
