Fisherman shoots first ever water-spout sighted near waters of Balochistan

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A fisherman recorded an amazing view of water-spout formed deep in the Arabian Sea, viewed by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as a sign of climate change, but Director General Metrological Department explained it as a rainstorm, reported Dunya News.

Obvious signs of climate change have been observed in Pakistan recently. A footage surfacing lately shows water-spout formed in the deep of waters Arabian Sea near coastal area of Balochistan.

The video was filmed by a fisherman Mehar Gul and has sparked fascination among viewers. WWF’s representative in Pakistan Muazam Khan said that such water-spouts are normally formed due to increase in temperature.

On the other hand, DG Metrological Department Ghulam Rasul said that it was nothing more than a rainstorm entering the province and there is nothing to worry about. According to the Meteorological Department the situation seems to affect sea level because of the strong winds as heavy rains will soon enter Balochistan.
