Summary Interior Minister ordered authorities to grant citizenship to Indian lady as soon as possible

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday ordered the concerned authorities to grant Pakistani citizenship to an Indian woman who has requested for a Pakistani identity since 2008, reported Dunya News.

The lady married a Pakistani national who has expired. She contacted the Interior Ministry through a letter to assist her after her share in the property was disputed and she became victim to atrocities carried out by her own sons. Her case has been pending in the Interior Ministry since 2008.
