Utility Stores Corporation has increased the price of Daal Maash by Rs 80 per kg

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Utility Stores Corporation has increased the price of Daal Mash by Rs 80 per kg as shortage of Daal Mash increased in the local market on Tuesday while the price of Daal Chana and Daal Masoor has been reduced by Rs 2 per kg, reported Dunya News.

Sources revealed that Utility Store has issued new price of pulses; Daal Mash price has been raised by Rs 80 per kg, according to which the new price of Daal Mash has exceeded from Rs 195 to 275 per kg.

According to the sources, scarcity of lentils in local market is the reason of increase in prices. Despite increase of prices in local market, utility stores for the past few months did not increase the prices.

Utility Stores Corporation also decreased the price of Daal Moong and Daal Masoor by 2 rupees.

After Rs 2 reduction, Daal Moong price has been decreased to Rs 158 per kg, Daal Masoor to Rs 128 per kg and Daal Chana to Rs 120 per kg.
