Summary Government decides to suspend citizenship of banned outfit members
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan directed to suspend citizenship, SIMs and bank accounts of all those belonging to any banned outfit and said that the government will provide foolproof security to the citizens, reported Dunya News.
Chaudhry Nisar chaired a high level meeting as chairmen of all the sub-institutions of Interior Ministry were also present. In the meeting, it was decided to suspend civil privileges of all the citizens belonging to any banned outfit.
Moreover, all the SIMs and bank accounts of the people listed in fourth schedule will also be frozen. Security measures taken for educational institutes and media houses were also discussed in the meeting.
The Minister said that he will make every possible effort to secure the lives of the citizens and those who are defaming the country will be brought to justice. Police and local government have been directed to take possible measures to deal with the current situation, he added.
