KARACHI (Dunya News) – Residents of the area were in shock as eight armed police officers late Sunday night robbed items worth Rs. 2,98,000 from a house in Azeempura area of Karachi. A case has been registered against the unidentified officers in Al-Falah police station on the request of plaintiff Heera Shehzad who claims that the officers not only robbed the house blind but also left him stranded far away from his home and fled.
According to the registered FIR, 7-8 officers riding a Police mobile van arrived at the house and started robbing it. The accused officers also took off with licensed ammunition as well.
Shehzad has appealed that high officials of police should take notice of the incident while police officials stated that a hunt for the suspect officers was underway.
