Punjab govt forms JIT for Pathankot incident
Punjab government has established Joint Investigation Team for the Pathankot incident
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab government has on Thursday established the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate Pathankot incident, reported Dunya News.
The JIT formed by Punjab government to investigate the terror attack in Indian airbase of Pathankot comprises of five people and it will be headed by Police AIG Rai Tahir. The other members will be Intelligence Bureau (IB) Lahore Deputy Director Muhammad Azeem Arshad, Lt. Col. Tanvir Ahmad and Lt. Col. Irfan Mirza from an intelligence agency, and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Inspector Shahid Tanvir.
The JIT will investigate the Pathankot incident in view of the FIR registered in Gujranwala. The same committee will also investigate the Pathankot incident in collaboration with the Indian officials.
