Kahuta: Nadra's another blunder, issues one ID card number to two locals
Azmat said that his ID card was blocked due to the issue and he only has its photocopy with him.
KAHUTA (Dunya News) – National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Monday attempted another blunder by issuing one identity card number to two locals.
According to details, the citizen Azmat Mahmood stated that he approached Nadra office in Kahuta after his card with a number 37402-5408238-9 expired. He said that he had also submitted Rs 1500 for his new smart card as told by administration.
Azmat said when he arrived at the office to collect his card, he came to know that Nadra has also allotted the same ID card number to another local Sohail Sharif who lives in Kallar Syedan.
The local said that his ID card was blocked due to the issue and he only has its photocopy with him.
He further urged the authorities to resolve the matter as early as possible as he works in Saudi Arabia for livelihood and came to Pakistan for the renewal of card.
