KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least nine people including four police officers were arrested for kidnapping a citizen in Karachi’s Orangi Town today (Sunday).

As per details, the anti-car lifting cell’s personnel were trying to abduct a resident identified as Arif from his house on late Saturday night. The locals gathered at the scene and tortured the security officers.

Inspector General Sindh took notice of the incident. A case under 393, 365 and 384 provisions has been registered against the culprits at Pakistan Bazar police station.

According to local police, no entry of the raid was found in the record while ACL’s DS and SHO have also been suspended due to their involvement in the issue.
