Summary CM and commander discussed law and order situation and operation against terrorists
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar called on Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Qaim Ali Shah on Wednesday, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, CM and commander discussed issues related to law and order situation, operation against terrorists, the cases sent to military courts and their progress.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Provincial Government is working hard to implement National Action Plan in its true letter and spirit.
Qaim Ali Shah said that the operation against terrorists would continue till the elimination of last terrorist and for that the role of Police, Rangers and intelligence agencies is commendable.

Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday approved the extension of Rangers powers for 60 days. The extension of powers will be subject to the resolution passed earlier in the Sindh Assembly.
According to the details, CM Sindh signed the summary for the extension, which will be sent to Sindh’s Interior Ministry. The Provincial Ministry will then be sending the summary for extension to the Federal Interior Ministry.
A notification for the extension in powers will be issued after approval from Federal Interior Ministry.
The extension in Rangers’ powers will be ending on 3rd of February.
