LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three people were killed as a truck carrying salt overturned at Lahore’s Band Road due to tyre burst today (Wednesday).
According to details, the mishap took place when a truck carrying salt turned turtle after losing control due to tyre burst at Band Road, entrapping as many as three people under the pile of salt. The incident has also claimed lives of two women and one child.
On getting the information of the incident, police officials arrived at the scene and launched rescue activity.
The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital while the cleaning process is underway by the workers. The locals were seen gathering salt from the accident spot instead of rescuing the victims.
