KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police conducted operations in different parts of Karachi on Sunday and arrested at least 17 accused, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police conducted an operation in Maripur area and arrested 13 gamblers. SSP City, Fida Hussain, informed media that in charge of Maripur Police Station was suspended for negligence of duty. Police have also recovered stake money of Rs 40,000 from the gamblers.
Police also conducted an operation in Preedi area and arrested two accused involved in street crimes. Police have also recovered arms and a motorcycle from their possession.
Separately, police conducted an operation in Pirabad area and arrested two drug peddlers after an encounter. Police have also recovered two kilogram of narcotics from them.
