Khursheed Shah presents list of assets' values in assembly

Various other offices in the country and abroad are also valued at extremely low prices

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah on Friday presented the list regarding values of Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) assets in the assembly, showing that PIA’s assets are priced extremely less than the market value.

According to details, a ‘loot sale’ of PIA assets is apparently being prepared in which its offices will be sold for extremely less prices compared to market value.

Dunya News has obtained the list of prices presented in the House by Shah.

As per the Opposition Leader, the offices and assets of the national carrier are being sold off at prices extremely low prices compared to the market values.

Reportedly, the airline’s Blue Area office in Islamabad are being prepared to be sold for Rs 57.9 million, Sales Office Karachi for Rs 178.02 million whereas Rawalpindi’s Mall Road office is up for sale for Rs 32.01 million. The office in front of Punjab Assembly has been priced at Rs 44 million.

PIA’s offices abroad are also being prepared to be sold. New Delhi office is priced at Rs 204.1 million, Tashkent office at Rs 8.295 million whereas the building in New York has been priced at Rs 50.93 million.

Various other offices in the country and abroad are also valued at extremely low prices.
