PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Thursday expressed regret over inadequate security arrangements at terror-hit Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, Dunya News reported.

During his visit to the university, Sirajul Haq said that security measures not enough despite an arrangement of a poetry competition where six hundred people were invited.

He said the rulers should consider this attack as an attack on Islamabad. Nefarious elements have commenced a war in the Islamic world, he added.

Senator Sirajul Haq further said that further steps are required to save Pakistan from terrorism. He urged all the political leaders to come together against this menace.

Earlier today, he visited the District Headquarter Hospital Charsadda and inquired about the health of the injured students.

He lauded the courage of the university students who were committed to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
