Islamabad: PPP challenges CDA raid at secretariat office in SC
PPP lawyer stated that CDA has lodged an FIR for not leaving the secretariat.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday has challenged the act of Capital Development Authority(CDA) of sealing party’s office in Supreme Court (SC).
PPP lawyer Latif Khosa filed a plea in SC, challenging the CDA bid of sealing secretariat located in sector G-6/4 in Islamabad. He said that the office is only for political purpose.
He further stated that CDA has lodged an FIR for not leaving the secretariat.
However, the court has ordered to take notice of CDA raid at PPP secretariat.
Earlier, on the directives of the Supreme Court, the CDA has launched a campaign against non-conforming use of residential houses as according to the CDA Ordinance 1960 and Building and Zoning Regulations, residential houses cannot be used for any other purpose.
