Karachi: 1 arrested after case of gang rape of 13-year-old girl registered
A 13-year-old girl was gang-raped on Friday after being kidnapped
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The police on Saturday arrested at least 1 accused after registering case of gang rape of a 13-year-old girl at Boat Basin area of Karachi, Dunya News reported.
The teen was kidnapped and gang-raped by three men yesterday (Friday). The police reached the scene as soon as they were alerted and the victim was transferred to the hospital.
In light of the victim’s statement and with her father as complainant, the police registered the case under Sections of kidnapping and rape against three accused.
The police officials said one accused identified as Junaid has been arrested while two of his accomplices are still on the run. The officials claimed that the runaway suspects have been identified and will soon be arrested.
