Summary Initial investigation revealed a sub-machine gun was used to fire at the house

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Unidentified motorbike riders opened fire on the house of First Secretary of Afghan Consulate in Peshawar, on the night between Thursday and Friday, reported Dunya New.

According to details, Unknown armed men attacked the house of Afghan diplomat Humayun Yousafzai in the early hours of Friday. He, however, remained unhurt while a portion of the house was damaged, according to the police. Initial investigation revealed a sub-machine gun was used to fire at the house and 29 bullet casings have been recovered from the site of the attack. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against unidentified individuals and investigation is under way. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack as yet.
