Summary Service on permanent basis is continued through Khidmat Cards, he said
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The employment quota for special persons has been raised from 2% to 3% in Punjab, Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday.
Heading a session for welfare of special persons, CM Punjab said the special persons deserve special treatment, adding that service on permanent basis is continued through Khidmat Cards.
Shehbaz Sharif said Punjab government’s efforts are exemplary for country’s history. He said one example of service to the special persons is the issuance of Khidmat Card.
The CM Punjab said government jobs for as many as 950 visually impaired persons and university jobs for highly educated special persons have been created.
He also told registration of 26 thousand visually impaired persons has been completed who will be given age relaxation of up to 10 years for government jobs.
