Summary Extremists manhandled and tortured the staffers

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Workers of Indian extremist group, Bajrang Dal have stormed Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) office in New Delhi, Dunya News reported Thursday.

Initial details suggest that the extremist organisation’s workers stormed the office in the Indian capital. Extremists manhandled and tortured the staffers and vandalised the office equipment.

Pakistan High Commission (HC) in India has launched a protest in the matter.

Hindu extremist group, Bajrang Dals workers have reportedly smashed window panes and computers in the office. 

The attack has come in when Pakistan is making efforts to not let Pathankot attack hinder scheduled dialogue between the two countries. On January 2, Indian Punjabs Pathankot airbase was attacked by militants and seven security personnel had lost their lives.

Pakistan Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has been assured by Indian counterpart Narendra Modi of support to track down the miscreants. PM Nawaz formed a special team comprising of military intelligence and other agencies to probe the attack.

A special team has also been formed to visit Indian authorities and help catch insurgents behind the attack.

Spokesperson for Indian Ministry of External Affairs has appreciated Pakistan s efforts in Pathankot probe. While addressing a press conference today, the spokesperson said that Pakistan-India Foreign Secretary-level talks have been rescheduled with consensus.

The dialogue was earlier scheduled to be held on January 15.

Indian extremist wing, Shiv Sena had earlier launched a series of violent demonstrations on visit on Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan to Mumbai. Khan had paid a visit to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai on its chief, Shashank Manohars invite.

However, Shiv Sena did not let the talks to discuss possibility of cricket series happen between the two boards. Shehryar Khan had returned to Pakistan with no conclusive point on the table from Shashank Manohar.
