Quetta police killings: Case registered at Gawalmandi Police Station
Unidentified miscreants had martyred the two police on January 8
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Case against two police killings on Saturday has been registered at Gawalmandi Police Station.
On January 8, head constable Mushtaq and constable Wajid were gunned down in Multani Mohalla while they were performing duties outside a mosque during Friday prayers.
Unidentified miscreants had martyred the two persons.
Case has been registered on complaint of Station House Office (SHO) Hakeem Nazeer of Gawalmandi Police Station.
The case has been based on Sections 302, 392 and Anti-Terrorism Act.
It should be mentioned here that as many as four police have been martyred in a week in Quetta.
Separately on late Friday night, at least 27 suspects were taken into custody during a police and Frontier Corps (FC) joint search operation in various areas of the city.
The detained suspects were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
A heavy contingent of police and FC personnel took part in the operation.
